Lino Galvão was born in Portugal in 1961 and became a Luxembourg citizen.
He continued his secondary education at the Lycée Technique
des Arts et Métiers in Luxembourg.

He then continued his studies at the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Nancy
and the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
